We have been here for occasions on and off since they originally opened and the food is still good to this day. Was here recently on July 2 ordered a variety of things and was happy with all of them. From the potatoes with mushrooms to the eggplant everything was delicious. Beef carpaccio was just as good as the tartare. Steak was cooked to the correct temperature. Duck and steak salad were also great.

A Home Cook's Humble Admission: 718 Bistro As someone who takes great pride in their home cooking, I'll admit, I was skeptical when we went out to dine at 718 Bistro. After all, nothing could compare to the flavors and love infused into each dish I prepare in our own kitchen--or so I thought. From the moment we walked through the doors of 718 Bistro, I knew I was in for a culinary experience unlike any other. The aroma of spices and sizzling meats greeted us, tempting our taste buds with promises of gastronomic delights to come. As we settled into our seats, I couldn't help but marvel at the chic yet inviting ambiance that surrounded us, a stark contrast to the cozy familiarity of our own dining room. But it wasn't until the first bite of our appetizer that I realized just how wrong I had been. The flavors exploded on my palate in a symphony of taste, each ingredient perfectly complementing the next in a way that I had never thought possible. With each subsequent course, I found myself more and more in awe of the culinary prowess on display, each dish surpassing the last in both creativity and execution. But perhaps the most humbling moment came when I took a bite of my main course--a dish that I had long prided myself on being able to recreate at home with ease. Yet, as I savored each mouthful, I couldn't help but admit defeat. The flavors were unlike anything I had ever tasted, a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs behind the scenes. And as we reluctantly bid farewell to 718 Bistro at the end of our meal, I couldn't help but feel a newfound appreciation for the artistry of restaurant cooking. While I may never be able to replicate the dishes we enjoyed that evening in my own kitchen, I am grateful for the experience and the opportunity to expand my culinary horizons. So to anyone who, like me, once believed that home cooking reigns supreme, I urge you to set aside your preconceptions and pay a visit to 718 Bistro. I promise you won't be disappointed--in fact, you may just find yourself questioning everything you thought you knew about food.

Was here for a banquet the other day and I got to say they give so much food. The place is a little loud and crammed but overall it was a great experience and they are very accommodating. I have so many favorite dishes from the banquet that is a must try... Potatoes with mushroom: potatoes were crispy and the it was just the right amount of saltiness. Pelmeni with Creamy Garlic Sauce: this was like little dumplings in heavy cream, very good. Love the flavor and it wasnt too heavy. Baked Salmon: this has to be the best salmon I have ever had... it was so soft and it didnt taste fishy.... Had a lot of different spices to it Chicken/Pork Kebab: I definitely enjoyed the pork over the chicken... the chicken had a bit of fat Prime Rib: the steak was cooked to the perfect temperature and the sauce complimented it so well. And they allow us to take home everything we didnt finish!! Which was a lot of food.... Had it for the next few days

I really enjoyed my experience at 718 Bistro. It's a small restaurant so there's no dancing but they do have banquet dinners. I came for a birthday so it was a very large party and the service was excellent. On a Saturday night it was packed and I was very impressed with how attentive and organized the staff is. As with any banquet menu, some items are better than others and there's always plenty of food. I enjoyed the smoked fish platter (lox was so good), salo was definitely a star, the salads were fresh, and I liked the grilled salmon entree. Potatoes were great too. For dessert they served fresh fruit and napoleon. BYO wine/liquor.
